10.07.2017 - An Update

Hi David

Aware that I haven't contacted you in a while! Hope you're both well settled into your new home by now?

Over the last few months your donations have gone towards getting a few dogs off this island to the U.K. These are to people who otherwise couldn't have afforded to adopt from here, but we were able to subsidise thanks to you. I have attached pictures of the dogs you have helped.

We are less involved at the actual pound now and focussing more on adopting out as many as we can. We have a small group of volunteers in the UK who are currently in the process of seeking charity status for us in England and Wales so we can do more fundraising there.

Sarah and I are in the process of negotiating our own route with dogs hopefully travelling from Ercan to the UK and hopefully Europe.

Anyway, that's where we are to date.

This is Holly now called Lunar, who was a private rescue of mine where I live, she did go to the pound until she could travel. You can see how skinny she was and terrified of everyone. Second picture is of her in the UK, now a happy healthy well adjusted girl.

The following girl is Trixie now called Sahsa, a personal favourite from the pound of Sarah's. Sarah had her living with her and her dogs for a few months. She is now enjoying a wonderful life in the UK.

This next girl is and has been a favourite of mine for over two years. Fell in love with her on sight and called her Sweetpea, she's now called Lola and only went to her new home to a friend of mine in Scotland about a week ago.
